The 17th Conference of the International Society of Travel Medicine CISTM17 was initially planned to be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, ISTM leadership determined the most responsible action would be transition to a completely virtual platform. The CISTM17 Scientific Program, Independent Medical Education and Sponsored Symposia were presented on both the Virtway interactive platform and on Zoom.
